Lucknow: Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak on Tuesday said that hospitals are being equipped with technologies to provide better treatment to patients and soon health services of UP will be number one in the country.
Addressing the state-level orientation program of medical officers in charge of 100 aspirational development blocks in GomtinagarPathak, who is also the state’s health minister, said that hospitals are being linked with telemedicine, teleradiology and other facilities so that patients can get better and more modern treatment with technology.

“There is a need to further improve the treatment system in small hospitals in urban and rural areas. This can save patients from coming to a higher centre. The aim of Community and Primary Health Centre, Health Sub-Centre, Health and Wellness Center is to help patients and provide effective treatment,” he said.
Pathak also directed officials not to call doctors or medical staff for meetings while they are on medical duty and care should be taken while assigning the duty of Community Health Officer ,CHO) and other health workers.
The deputy CM informed that 100 aspirational districts have been selected at the state level and under 75 points, works related to health system improvement will be done in these districts.
