VijayawadaIn a first-of-its-kind move in the state, the government Launched a dedicated helpline for people with psychological issues. The health and family welfare department launched theTele-Manas‘ helpline to provide free counseling to people with psychological and mental illnesses.
Commissioner of health and family welfare on Tuesday said a dedicated call center will work at Siddhartha Medical College in the city between 8 am and 8 pm on working days to provide free counseling and other help to the needy.
Counselors and psychological experts have been deployed at ‘Tele-Manas’ to provide qualitative service to the users. People in need can call 14416 or 180089114416 helpline numbers.
