India registers 114 new COVID-19 cases, active cases stand at 2,119, Health News, ET HealthWorld

New Delhi: India has recorded 114 new cases in the last 24 hours, while the active cases in the country stand at 2,119, which is 0.01 per cent, a health bulletin from the Union Health Ministry stated.

A total of 91.33crore COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far; 74,320tests conducted in last 24 hours. The daily positivity rate is 0.15 per cent and the weekly positivity rate is 0.09 per cent.

“India has administered 220.17 crore total vaccine doses (95.14 crore second doses and 22.45 crore precaution doses) of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive. 3,984doses were administered in the last 24 hours,” the statement added.

Also, 144 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours increasing the total recoveries to 4,41,48,309. The recovery rate currently stands at 98.8 per cent.
